Sixth Season of the World Poker Tour Debuts Tonight on GSN.

Tonight marks the opening broadcast of the World Poker Tour’s sixth season.
It has a new home…and of course has new promises for its future.
After ending its television contract with the Travel Channel, Steve Lipscomb’s empire will have a fresh start on GSN - also known as the Game Show Network. Widespread rumors have been circulating about the poker industry about how successful the WPT might be after achieving such huge success during the “poker boom.” The company reported million dollar losses in 2007,and is hoping to recuperate strongly after renegotiating a lot of its marketing deals and sponsorships.
