Just two days ago 249 players entered into the $5,000 World Series of Poker Circuit event at the Harrah’s Casino in New Orleans and built a prize pool of $1,196,650. All entrants were vying for the top prize of $382,928 and a gold ring. First place also got a nice $10k entry into the 2008 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas!
As of now there are nine players remaining. The current chip leader is Timothy Miles with just over 600,000. Not too far behind is Ed Jatho with just over 400,000 chips.
