Default Does knowing results ahead of time "ruin" it for you?

obv everyone knows WSOP is under way and here at PokerOwnage™ like to keep the world imformed of the results courtesy of pino and risingers. But in reality, do you guys want to know who wins? Are there fans out there who would rather not hear who wins and just watch it when it comes out on TV? does it ruin the "suprise" for you? For example. if ivey wins the 2006 main event, and you are watching it on tv and ivey is all in on day 3 and needs a case out to survive... you obv know he gets it. If you don't know its coming you can basically cheer/be suprised etc etc. But if you know he wins the tourney he obv hits his case out and you are less thrilled...

Basically who here likes to know ahead of time and who here would rather not know and watch it on TV?

Sometimes it sucks to know who wins when your watching it later on. But I still like to know as it happens. I probably won't remember who won by the time it airs anyway.

I don't understand why they don't just show it live as it happens. I mean it is the World Series of Poker. They play the NBA finals, Stanley Cup, etc., live, as it happens......why not this?

I just don't read the threads. Obviously, the main event winner will be known beforehand. Besides that, I only knew about Chan and Brunson winning their 10th last year, every other one was a surprise.

this is directly based on lots and lots and lots of money and they dont want any cheaters... even if you put a 10 minute delay, if someone was wired they would just have to tank for 10 minutes and then they have an informant cheat etc. they should just aire like 2 weeks after it happens, not months.

If someone tanked for 10 minutes, someone would call the clock on them, and/or the tournament officials would know whats up. Plus dont you think they would find out they are wired when they are wired for TV?

I really don't know why. They are already taping the feature table the whole time, as well as many other tables. Just get some commentators in a booth to improv some play-by-play, and there ya go. It would be no different then what they show now.
