Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels:

This is technically a movie, but this forum is the closest I found to encompassing this film. They play a game in the opening scene called Three-Card Brag, which is basically a British variation on American poker. Has anyone seen this film? The game looks kind of odd, but so did Scandinavian Stud (SoKo) when I first played it. I found the rules on wikipedia. If any of you have seen the scene, do you have any idea why Eddie puts up 500K with just a pair of sixes? Does he have a read and is just wrong? Or is it a silly plot device?
